Should of Could of Would of Started a Podcast in 2023
So many podcasts out there, but only a fraction of those are active. Compared to the number of YouTube channels, the podcasting space has plenty of space to grow. With that said, have you ever wanted to start a podcast but haven't. What's stopping you especially in 2023 approaching. Podcasting may not be for everyone, but how will you know if you don't try. It's not as easy as many people think. A half hour show when it's all said and done may take 4 or 5 hours to record, edit, launch, and promote. But you should take the opportunity to at least try because you never know where it may take you.
If I started when I truly wanted, I would of began 3 or 4 years prior. At this point I've been podcasting and in the podcast space for 5 years. I didn't know anything when I started, and still don't know everything. But through recording 300+ episodes, appearing on 150+ podcasts and media outlets, producing shows, co-hosting shows, and doing media buys with top podcast networks I've done a lot of learning in a short amount of time. So I encourage anyone that has been scared to start podcasting make it a priority for 2023.

Regardless of what your reason to start, do it for genuine reasons. You may start it for your company but it may turn into a passion project. You never know where your potential show will take you. Embrace it. Everything in life is a lesson or a blessing. If you do decide to start have a plan, treat it like a business, and create an actionable process regardless if its a passion project or corporate show. Having an actionable plan increases your chances of reaching your desired level of success that much more.
