The Digital Savage Experience Podcast Selected As An Early Adopter For Spotify Video Podcasts Rollout
The Spotify Video Podcast have only been out for a short while to a limited short list of podcasts. The short list includes Joe Rogan, Nas Daily, Misfits Podcast, H3 Podcast, Fantasy Footballers, and a few others.
The feature is a great enhancement to engagement and I believe Joe Rogan would not have came over to Spotify if the feature wasn't available to his show.
Spotify is looking to roll out and test the video feature to more podcasts and have them be the next phase of their video podcasts rollout.
Since Roman Prokopchuk's Digital Savage Experience Podcast started, the show has always been on Anchor pre-Spotify Acquisition. We saw the value in what Spotify was trying to do in the podcast ecosystem and decided to stick it out. Spotify has added feature after feature to help podcasters connect with their audiences and position themselves to take a bigger chunk out of the podcast space.
The Anchor team at Spotify reached out to the show and identified it to be well suited for their test and early adoption of Video Podcasts on Spotify.
Spotify is beginning to expand video podcasts throughout their ecosystem and we were thrilled they saw the show as a great fit for this expansion.
As an early adopter we will be one of the first to offer our listeners the feature on the Spotify platform.
The first phase of Video Podcasts presents an non-exclusive distribution channel with the opportunity to grow impressions and exposure to new audiences on Spotify.
Because lets face it, discoverability is one of the biggest hurdles in the growth of any podcast.
Monetization offerings and other perks will present themselves throughout the rollout in the future.
Being an early adapter looks to be promising in terms of offering listeners an ability to now watch, and become more engaged in the content and the show.
We look forward to be part of this expansion.
