What Motivates People to Struggle for Change
People are motivated by their own things. One person's motivation of money may not be the same for another person that's focused on a cause. What really motivates people to struggle for change?
Some people come from hard environments from day one and don't let it define them, and others use it as an excuse when they fail and fall.
Many guests of the Digital Savage Experience Podcast were foster kids, disowned by parents, born with learning disabilities, products of rape, former criminals, addicted to substances, and many other tough conditions. So why did they become CEOs, athletes, and anything else their mind was put towards?
It's a choice. A daily struggle to go one way or another. At the end of the day it's a you vs you battle. Yes, you can have all the variables in life stacked against you but it doesn't mean you should give up. As long as you wake up and have breathe in your lungs, you can change the direction of your life. You can use pain and hardship as an excuse or you can use it to fuel the fire that motivates you.
“Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” The quote, from a novel by the author G. Michael Hopf.
Sometimes that hardship prepares you for tough challenges later in life, it motivates you, and it drives you to the level of success you hope to attain in your life.
